Super Driver got us on the road soon after 6:00.  As for me...well, I slept until Bill pulled into a Rest Area to eat breakfast.  I “hopped” right out of bed, because, as you know, I never miss a meal!  As far as traveling goes, we were about 50 miles west of San Antonio.  

For the first time either one of us can remember we drove through San Antonio without stopping.  We enjoy SA.  It has lots to see and do and many, many caches to find.  But alas, we have other places to go this time around.

We stopped at Walmart in Hondo.  Bill needed to “inspect the insides of his eyelids.  I went in the store for a few minutes and since there was a Subway there, I purchased meatball subs for our lunch.  They are among our favorites.

Our plans were to stop in Bracketville to visit a movie set where some Westerns were filmed.  Unfortunately, the public is no longer allowed to tour the place, although movies are still being made there.  We were really bummed about it.

We drove on into Del Rio and parked at Walmart.  There is a special section of their parking lot that is for RVs only and we are the only ones using it tonight.
