We had a little rain this morning, but some of the clouds cleared and then we had sunshine. In the afternoon a brisk wind started blowing some threatening clouds in. Mississippi is kind of like many other places we visit...if you don’t like the weather, hang around for 10 minutes and see what comes up next.
Bill and I went several places this morning...Verizon, Penney’s, a pecan shop, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
Since we are no longer in In-N-Out country we decided to go to Five Guys. They claim to be the best burger joint in the country. Our burger was good and so were the fries, but not better than In-N-Out, and our meal cost nearly twice as much.
The only way to compare the two as far as business is concerned is to go to Yuma, where they are across the street from each other. In-N-Out will be packed with customers and Five Guys will have only four or five cars parked there. I rest my case! In-N-Out is better!
Tonight we went to Robyn and Wesley’s house for tacos, etc. It was a nice evening so we sat outside to eat, but before we finished eating a really strong wind began to blow. So far, no rain yet though.
