We left Douglas, Wyoming at 7:15 this morning. Bill was in the front in the driver's seat and I was in the back still in bed getting a few extra z- z-z-z's.
On the way north to Gillette we saw several flocks of sheep. There were lots of lambs frolicking around, while staying close to their mothers. There were also lots of antelope.
As soon as we got into Gillette we went to the fairgrounds where the convention is being held. It took about 30 minutes for us to get parked at our site.
After lunch we went back into town for gasoline, not only for the green Honda, but for the red Honda generator. We also went to Walmart for a few items.
At the Visitor center we made reservations to go to a coal mine next Monday. The last few times we've been in Gillette we have tried to visit a coal mine. For various reasons we were not able to get to a mine. Maybe this time we'll get lucky.
I spent quite a bit of time getting geocaches loaded in the GPSs. In past visits we've found about 10 caches here. I loaded 33 more today. That should keep us busy for a while.
Today’s Travel Totals: Mileage, 118---Critter sightings, lots of lambs and about that many antelope.
