March 15, 2016—-Yuma, Arizona
We had an 8:30 meeting this morning with a RE/MAX realtor. The house had a lot of possibilities, but it had been added on to over the years and some of the additions were rather strange. The main objection was the small size of the lot. There was absolutely no way to add a garage without adding one more strange addition.
We really need and want a garage. We need one to the get the Honda out of the hot sun. These months aren’t the hottest yet to come and we know how much heat metal attracts in the blazing sun. Today, although the temperature didn’t reach 90°, the door handles got too hot to touch comfortably. And more importantly, Bill misses having a garage…a place to putter around.
We drove around several more neighborhoods, but didn’t see anything that interested us. We will do some more looking around tomorrow. We are getting well acquainted with various parts of Yuma.
We went to a place that advertised good fish and chips. We were disappointed! But we’ll just have to keep trying places as they are recommended. It is kind of a fun new hobby and it goes well with geocaching.
