Bill pointed the motorhome toward Albuquerque this morning We had been traveling east for about 30 minutes when we crossed the Continental Divide.
Bill was getting tired so we stopped at a Rest Area. It was the most complicated route to one we have ever seen. We had to use two different round abouts, and then turned into a place that didn’t look like a Rest Area at all. When we left, I wished we had left a bread crumb trail, but we were soon on I-40 again, heading in an easterly direction.
When we got into Albuquerque, we changed from I-40 to I-25 north, and parked at Sam’s Club. It was lunchtime so we went in for pizza.
After naps, we went in search of Hobby Lobby and a Super Walmart. After two successful missions, we drove north on I-25 to Sandia Casino and parked for the night. Tomorrow, after getting fuel for the motorhome, we will go to Santa Fe.
Today’s mileage was 158...a nice distance for one day.
We enjoyed Albuquerque and Santa Fe a lot when we where there this Spring. Hope you will have a great time there too.
