Rain started to fall at midnight and continued until morning. It was such a nice sound on the roof. By the time we got up it had quit with only a few sprinkles off and on until noon.
We watched NASCAR qualifying from Martinsville, Virginia. And of course, Gunsmoke was on several times during the afternoon.
I called Lori with an SOS this afternoon. I told her I hadn’t been able to locate a source for size 2/0 seed beads. While we were talking, she found a couple of sources online. She will order two or three colors to see how their service, etc. is.
Peggy came out to visit after getting home from one of her many committee/board meetings. She and Jim are both very involved in things in Santa Fe.
Jim, Bill and I went to Souper Salad for dinner. Peggy stayed home and worked on committee reports. The food at Souper Salad was really good...one of the best salad bars I’ve seen in a long time. And there were lots of other choices, too.
Just as we got home a terrible rain and lightening storm blew in. It was a hard rain and close lightening for about 30 minutes. Then it blew out as quickly as it had blown in.
I spent the evening working on a new beading project.
