We didn’t get out onto the geocaching trail until about 10:00 this morning. The first cache we looked for we weren’t able to find. It gave us a forbidding feeling to get a DNF right off the bat.
Not to worry, though. We found the next 14 caches. We were caching on a road called the Gas Line Road. It is a dirt road, with very few rocks, but some dips that we had to be careful when crossing.
We went into town to eat lunch at La Mesa RV. Today it was Chinese noodles. I normally don’t use soy sauce because of the salt content, but today’s concoction needed a little help on the flavor.
We went home for naps. At 4:00, we had the first Happy Hour for the RV Forum gathering. Tomorrow is the official beginning of the rally, so I guess today was a practice day. There were about 25 people with chairs sitting around a fire pit with no fire. Tomorrow, things should be different...more people, a fire, etc. Today several rigs pulled in and more should arrive tomorrow.
We were making plans to watch the football games on Sunday. Some people don’t get the major networks, so they are looking for RVs in which to watch both games. It should be interesting and fun.
