June 8, 2014--Michelle’s in Loveland, Colorado

It was cloudy and cold all day.  By mid afternoon, rain was falling and continued for several hours.

Meredith and I went to Fort Collins late this morning.  Our first stop was at REI.  I needed inserts for my hiking boots.  Recently, I received a $20 discount for a purchase of $50 or more.  I thought this would be a good time to buy the inserts.  I also had a $5.12 dividend to use.  I “made out like a bandit,” didn’t I?

We ate an early lunch at A & W before going to Sprouts, one of our favorite places to grocery shop.  Meredith let me off at Ulta before going on to start her shopping.  After making my purchase, I walked to Sprouts and bought a few things.  I checked out just before Meredith.  That was good timing!

On the way back to Loveland, we went through a car wash.  Dwaine is very insistent that their cars get washed regularly.  That’s probably why their vehicles always look good.

When I got back home, Bill and I watched a movie.  I went to sleep and he had to tell me the ending.

I have a long “to do” list and I only marked one thing off today.  If the sun shines tomorrow, I will have to make hay.  Get it...make hay while the sunshines?
