Meredith came this morning to take Michelle and me to the donut shop. It was a bribe to assure that we would help clean Michelle’s newly redecorated kitchen. And it worked. While M & M did a thorough on the refrigerator I attacked the microwave.
Our next chore will be to get everyone to take their possessions off the breakfast bar. Then things will be in tip top shape.
It was fun to see the project take shape. It really looks nice and much lighter and brighter in the kitchen.
Meredith went home to revive. After resting for about 30 minutes, Michelle and I went to Habitat For Humanity Thrift Store. We had a lot of items to donate and also some serious shopping to do. We got fabric for curtains and pillows in the spare bedroom. We also went shoe shopping. Michelle got a pair of red Western boots and I found some new Teva sandals.
Our last stop for the afternoon was at Walmart. While we were in the store, a rainstorm had passed through. By the time we were ready to head for the car the storm had moved north.
Meredith and Dwaine came for supper. We were able to eat outside...until it started to sprinkle. Unfortunately, the only good it did was to drive us indoors.
Our friend, Todd, had to have a pacemaker implanted last week. Bill was wondering if that would make Todd eligible for the new reality show, Bionic Geezers!
