We went out to find garage sales this morning. A couple of them were fairly good. Several of them didn’t look enticing enough to even stop at, and then there were some in the middle. We had a good time, even if we didn’t purchase very much.
We went to lunch at the same place where we celebrated Willie’s birthday. This time there were no dogs present, just people. It was a warm day, but we sat outside under the shade of an umbrella.
I spent the afternoon with Meredith and Sara, working on a project. Brent even helped for a little bit. When Meredith left to help get dinner ready, Sara and I kept working. She is a really great helper. We had a good time working together.
Dinner was salmon cakes, broiled shrimp some of which was wrapped with bacon, hot wings, French fries, fried pickles, and rolls. We sat around the fire pit and ate. Dessert was s’mores. Yum, yum!
Bill, Joshua, and Michelle are very good at roasting marshmallows. They are done to perfection. Matthew, on the other hand, cremates his.
