April 3, 2016—-Yuma, Arizona

Bill and I had meant to get up early, go to McDonald’s for pancakes and then shop for groceries at Walmart.  It didn’t work…the getting up early part or anything else for that matter.  I was too tired to get up.  Finally, at 10:00, I got up, but went back to sleep while we were watching the NASCAR race.  I was unusually tired.

Brent called to say he and Courtney made it to AnnArbor safely.  They didn’t have much bad weather on the trip.  We were glad to get the report that they were in Michigan safe and sound.  Brent will stay a couple of weeks before flying back to Mississippi.

By supper time I was feeling better.  Bonnie called to say her cactus was blooming.  By morning, the bloom will probably be gone, so we went over to see it tonight.  It was beautiful…large white blooms with tinges of pink at the base.

As we left their house, we could hear coyotes howling in the distance.
