At 7:30, Bill pulled the motorhome out and headed for the repair shop. I followed in the Honda. After checking it in, we said farewell to our house (sniff, sniff) and went to McDonald’s for breakfast.
Across the street was US Bank. When we went in to the bank, the temperature was 63°. When we left, 20 minutes later, there was a strong wind blowing. By the time we got back home, the temp had dropped to 46° and was still dropping.
I was tired and lay down to rest. At 10:00, Meredith sent a text saying it was snowing. Of course, I had to get up to look out the window. Sure enough, snow was falling...not much, but some!
I took a long nap and felt much better afterwards. I started putting our belongings away. We are staying in the extra bedroom in the basement. We have named it the “Geezer Cave.” It will be our cozy little spot as long as the motorhome is in “sick bay.”
The snow stopped falling, but the temperature didn’t. It was 18° at bedtime. Br-r-r-r-r!
