Perhaps I over extended myself yesterday. Today I was extra tired.
Meredith and the pups came after dinner. She and Michelle were making peach preserves using the peaches that Michelle put in the freezer this summer. They also served ice cream with peaches. Yum, yum!
Some of the family watched the Raiders get their first win of the season...against Kansas City. Meredith said she couldn’t believe she was wanting Oakland to win. Their win helped Denver in the standings.
Helping make the peach preserves and cheering the Raiders on must have taken a lot of effort for Joey, Hapa, and Tippy. They came down to our room and all three rested on our bed.
My brother, Jim, and his wife, Peggy, drove up from Santa Fe today. They are staying with friends in Fort Collins, but they plan to spend time here in Loveland, too. We haven’t seen them in a while. It will be good to catch up on family “happenings.”
