Jim came this morning. After visiting for a few minutes, he and I went on a “sculpture picture-taking excursion.” On the way to the area we wanted to photograph, we decided lunch should be the first thing on our list.
We went to Karl’s Jr. After eating, we sat there for a long time talking. Two hours later, we decided we needed to get on the picture-taking trail while there was still good light.
The Dairy Queen has several sculptures at the edge of their parking lot. Some of them are permanent exhibits, but others are there temporarily until they can be shipped to their final destination.

Jim and Peggy came for dinner. Meredith made a vegetable casserole and brought marinated steak to be grilled. Michelle had salmon to be grilled, also. She had made rolls, and a salad, plus apple crisp for dessert. We were all very well fed!
