According to Bill, rain began to fall at 5:00 this morning.  By the time I got up at 7:00 we were having a "real frog strangler."

At 8:30, we went to hear Matthew's POL.  Each 8th grader does a Presentation of Learning about his years spent in Middle School.  Matthew did a good job.  He made good use of his iPad, projecting pictures onto the movie screen.

I didn't get too wet going into the school.  Matthew carried an umbrella to keep me dry.  He's such a gentleman!

Bill and I went to Taco Bell for lunch.  From there we headed for Walmart to get our prescriptions refilled.  While waiting for them we shopped.  That was a good use of our time, don't you think?

Bill bought three shirts today.  That was monumental.  He usually resists that kind of thing with all the strength he can muster. Today he weakened.

Dinner at Meredith and Dwaine's tonight was great, as usual.  She made shrimp and pasta, salad, and served hot cheese bread with it.  Yum, yum!
