At 11:00, Joshua and I went to get Matthew at school. He's out for the summer now.  And very glad of it.

He and I have been root beer float buddies for several years.  To celebrate his release from the institution where he's been held captive...school...we went to Red Robin.  Their root beer floats are very good.

Joshua was our limo driver, aka Honda CRV driver.  I'm getting very use to the luxury of a handsome young man at the wheel.  This cast on my hand does have some benefits.

When we got back home, Connor had just come home from his last day of school.
We've had some strong winds off and on all day, but it doesn't seem to be blowing any rainclouds our way.  More moisture would certainly be welcome.

Michelle and Ron had a cookout tonight.  They had buffalo burgers, corn and two kinds of squash roasted on the grill, baked beans, and watermelon and cantaloupe.  It was all so good.

Meredith and Dwaine joined us for dinner and a gabfest that went on until 9:00.  Somehow, we never seem to run out of things to talk about.
