Brent and I went to “Awful Waffle” for breakfast. The last time we ate there, our waitress was unbelievable. They are usually very efficient at the Waffle House. Not this one...she knocked a glass of water across the table, had trouble taking our order, got several things wrong, and ended up locking herself in the bathroom.
Guess who waited on us this morning. Yup! And she still had trouble taking our order. We couldn’t believe she was still working there and hadn’t improved. I think we were her only table. The good side was she was very pleasant.
Before going back home we went to Sam’s Club and the Chinese grocery store. We really know how to have a good time!
The Broncos played the Kansas City Chiefs today. It was kind of an up and down game, but in the end, Denver won! Yippy, Skippy!
Brent rented a movie, The Interns. It was about two older guys who go to Google to be interns in hopes of getting jobs. The only thing more ridiculous would be Bill and me in the roles of the interns. Now that would be a hoot!
Today was a good start to the month of December. Lori commented that Bill and I have children in all Time Zones across the country...Lori in Pacific, Meredith in Mountain, and Brent in Central. Michelle flew to Boston this morning for a Trade Show so she is in the Eastern Time Zone. Does this surprise any of you considering who raised these kids?
