The weather this morning was mild, but as we headed out at noon dark clouds were gathering on the horizon. We went to Ed’s for lunch.
While we were at the Water Department where Brent went to pay his bill, we had a few sprinkles. After making a stop for groceries, we went home so I could finish wrapping presents.
Brent fixed Korean barbecue for dinner. He also cooked a pot of rice and had kimchi to put on top of it. There were also sautéed vegetables. It was all really good.
We bought the kimchi at the Chinese grocery store yesterday. It had just been made. Traditionally, according to Brent, it would be made, put in a clay pot, and buried for a year to ferment before it is eaten. I doubt that I would be brave enough to try that!
Three other families, including kids and one dog, came for the feast. Tomorrow night, we are having a liver and onions party. Stay tuned for more on that event.
We watched the Seattle Seahawks beat up on the New Orleans Saints. Seattle played a really good game. The Saints were lackluster.
