July 14, 2012

July 14, 2012

Brent took me to Sam’s Club today.  We ate and shopped for about an hour.  During the time we were in the store, it started raining very hard.  We could hear it beating on the skylights.  By the time we left the rain had nearly stopped.

For Brent, going to Walmart is a “fate worse than death.”  In spite of that, we stopped for a few groceries on the way home.  What a guy!  Is he a good son or what?  That was really a sacrifice for him...for his “poor old gray haired mother.”

I rested when we got back to the MH.  At 5:00, a thunderstorm made its presence known.  Several lightening strikes hit very close and the thunder was so loud that the motorhome shook a couple of times.  The storm lasted for nearly an hour.  Needless to say, it wasn’t geocaching weather.
