October 7, 2011

There was a strong wind blowing most of the night.  The highest mountains were covered with snow, but we got very little moisture here in Loveland.

The thermometer was at 49° this morning.  Br-r-r-r-r!

The highlight of the day was going to Joshua’s football game.  The Booster Club had a tailgate party to raise funds.  We had hamburgers, chips, potato salad, cookies, and sodas.  I can’t ever remember that kind of fund raising event at a high school game.  It was well attended.

The weather was clear and crisp.  That means it was between cold and down right frigid!  Actually, the temperature was just about right for a fall evening, but as the time got later it got colder.  50° with dampness in the air was just a bit cold.

Joshua played a very good game.  He plays defense and was in on lots of tackles.  He likes the rough stuff.  The final score was 26  to 6.
