Our plans for going to Quartzsite today were delayed. We plan to go tomorrow, if all goes well.
We met RVing friends, Don and Mary Busic, for lunch. Their daughter, Meredyth, was with them. We had a really good visit. Don and Mary spend part of the year in Reno and part here in Southern California.
After lunch, we went back to their house for more reminiscing. We have known Don and Mary for a long time, having met them at a state park in Indiana quite a few years ago. Don reminded Bill of the time he helped fix our inverter. After working on it for a long time, Don fell against it as he was walking away. It started working! From then on when the inverter caused a problem, Bill would tap it with a hammer...if Don wasn’t around to work his magic.
It was 3:30 before we got back to the MH, so Bill agreed to stay in the casino parking lot one more night. It is good to have the freedom of our own schedule at times like this.
