April 14, 2012

We decided to stay three more days here at the Enid Lake Corps of Engineers park.  This is the nicest COE campground we’ve ever stayed at.  It is clean and well maintained, much of it by volunteers.  We have met some really nice people here.

For lunch, we drove 10 miles north to Batesville.  Bill wanted to go to Burger King so we could practice for our 52nd anniversary dinner.  Tomorrow’s the big day.  He’s such a sweetie, don’t you agree?

While in Batesville we found three caches and made a quick stop at Walmart before returning to the motorhome.

I worked on a beading project while we watched the NASCAR race from Texas.  It was a good race with no wrecks, just good driving by some of our favorite drivers.
