April 25, 2012

April 25, 2012

I spent most of the morning doing geocache work on the computer.  I had gotten behind in posting finds and maps and things like that.  It feels good to be caught up, but it won’t last long.  Oh, well.  Such is life in the fast lane.

After lunch we drove to Tishomingo.  It is a little town not far off the Natchez Trace.  Tishomingo was named after Chief Tishomingo of the Chickasaw tribe.  I think its a neat name.  We found two caches there and two more further out of town.

There are several more caches across the Trace, but we couldn’t figure out how to get over there.  When we got home we looked at our map of the area and think we found a route.

Perhaps tomorrow we will see if our map skills panned out.
