Ajo was in the rear view mirror/camera at 8:00. We drove north to Gila Bend. After fueling and eating breakfast we continued on Hwy. 85 to Buckeye.
After one last visit to Wally World (until Yuma), we took I-10 to Quartzsite. We stopped at a Rest Area to eat lunch before continuing our journey to Quartzsite.
At Exit 19, we turned off I-10, crossed over the freeway and took the road east to a BLM area. We have parked at this particular place before. It is closer to some of the activity. Friday, we will probably move to the rally site for the RV Forum.
It was cold and windy this afternoon when we got the motorhome parked, so we basically stayed inside for the rest of the day. I spent most of the time working on geocaching information. We have done a lot of caches in this area, but new ones appear on the map every year.
