My main goal for this morning was get a permanent for my tacky, tacky hair. Two hours later, I was “kinky” again. Yippy, Skippy!
The new “do” called for a trip to In-N-Out. Yum, yum! Then it was to Walmart for a few items.
We went home and instead of resting we visited with some neighbors. We have known Bill and Ardene for several years. We not only see them in Yuma every year, but in the Portland area, as well, when we manage to get to Oregon in the summer.
Jim and Pat invited us in for dinner. The food was good, but the best part was talking with them after we finished eating. They plan on leaving for Spokane in a few days and we won’t see them for nearly a year. That’s the way it is with us gypsies!
