March 6, 2013

We got off to a late start today.  It was nearly lunch time before we left the house.

We drove north on Hwy. 95 to a place called The Farm.  It is in the middle of a huge farming area that grows asparagus, celery, onions, artichokes and stuff like that.

Their menu is limited and is cooked outdoors on a grill.  The closest thing I can compare it to was food we used to get from street vendors in Mexico.  I got a taco and Bill got something I can’t spell the name of.  They were both really good.  I especially like their homemade tortillas.

Afterwards, we went caching.  The one in the area we found was by a canal.  Other than that, we struck out.  However, it was good to be out moving around.
