March 9, 2013

We left for geocaching this morning before 9:00.  On the way west we stopped to get sausage biscuits at McDonalds.  The Golden Arches may have a patent on them, but I “invented” them long before Mickey D!  Read on, please!

As we drove down the highway eating our breakfast, it was like a trip down memory lane.  When our kids were little and we were getting ready to take a trip, I would make sausage biscuits...lots of them!  As soon as we got to the highway, everyone wanted to eat.  And eat, we did.  It became a tradition to try to make it to the city limits.  We seldom did!

We went west into California to try to finish a power run.  Things didn’t go as we had planned.  We found six caches before deciding to continue our quest tomorrow.

As luck would have it, when we got back into Yuma it was time for lunch.  And guess where we were...close to In-N-Out!  Wow!  It certainly was our lucky day.  Yum, yum!

After we finished our lunch we drove east on Hwy. 95 in search of a produce stand.  There were several along the road, but we found the one we wanted and bought some pecans and raisins.

All in all, it was a great day, ending with Zorro!
