June 25, 2013--Gillette, Wyoming

We went out geocaching this morning.  I’m sorry to say, it is the most disappointing day we’ve ever had.  We had four DNFs before we ever logged a cache.  That’s terrible and also embarrassing.

After giving up on caching we went to the Rockpile Museum.  Its main focus is about Gillette in the “good old days.”  They also had several videos about coal mining that were very interesting.

Bill wanted shrimp for lunch so we went to Long John Silvers.  I ordered a piece of fish.  It didn’t hold a candle to Mississippi catfish, but it was OK.

We had a visitor this afternoon.  Judy and her husband are also parked here at Walmart.  They too are here in Gillette for the Escapade.  She is a beader so we had a lot to talk about.

After supper, I went to see some of the things she has made.  She has made some beautiful things, mostly necklaces.  They also have a big black cat named Freeway Too!  While I was in their motorhome, her husband came to our house and visited with Bill.

As I came back home, we all stood by the MH to visit some more.  Two other RVers came to join in.  Its fun to meet other motorhomers.  The only reason the “party” broke up was because the mosquitos came to join in the fun!  They can break up a party faster than anything I know.
