June 29, 2013--Escapade in Gillette, Wyoming

At 9:00 this morning we went to collect our registration packets at the Wyoming Center, the main building at the Cam-Plex.  I also bought a convention shirt.  Bill didn’t want one.  That saved us a few dollars.  Actually, he doesn’t wear polo shirts.  That’s my favorite style to wear in the summer.

We went geocaching with Mike and Wendy, RVing friends we have known for several years.  We found eight caches with no DNFs.  That’s a really good day!

We got home in time to rest before watching the NASCAR race from Kentucky.  We could’ve napped longer.  The race was rained out.  Hopefully, it can be run tomorrow at noon.

Natalia sent me a picture of her little dog, Maddie, riding in her bike basket.  She even has a seat belt.  Maddie only weighs seven pounds.  There was room for another dog her size.  She’s so tiny!

Dark clouds were gathering in the west tonight, but so far, no rain.  We are parked on gravel so rain shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
