August 30, 2011

August 30, 2011

After such a terrible storm last night, today dawned bright as a blue sky day can be. We had a lazy morning which was nice.  We have pushing ourselves lately, so it was nice to start the day relaxing.

Bill’s first seminar was at 10:30.  While he was getting better educated on the ways of RV living, I roamed around the vendor area and visited with people we have met over the years.

When we finished eating lunch we decided it would be a good day to cache, so off we went.  The first one we found was in a sculpture area of a small park.  This particular artist’s rendition was of two geese flying over a pond with cattails around the edges.  There was a turtle in the pond.  That was where the cache was hidden.

The next “hunt” took us to another small neighborhood park.  We searched for about 20 minutes, but never did find the “treasure.”  Bill wasn’t feeling too chipper so I drove us back home and he took a long nap.  He is really an expert at napping.  He doesn’t call it napping, however.  He says he inspecting the insides of his eyelids.

  1. Can Dad still inspect his eyelids laying on rocks like he did when we were crabbing? :) Michelle
