August 31, 2011

August 31, 2011

My morning was taken up with two more beading classes.  I have made some interesting things and have enjoyed meeting a lot of other beaders.

Bill and I met for lunch and spent the time with people that we have known for several years.  There is always a lot of catching up to do because about the only time we see most of them is at RV gatherings.  It is interesting that most of these people are also geocachers.  We introduced several of them to the sport and always like comparing cache notes.

We spent part of the afternoon resting, before going back to the convention area for a social gathering with a group that we have gone to Mexico with several different years.  The year the Mexican Connection Chapter 8 is going to Puerto Penasco (aka Rocky Point) in February.  Bill and I have signed up to go with them.

Another storm blew in tonight, but it was mild compared to the one a couple of nights ago.
