September 25, 2012

September 25, 2012

Our friend, Gail, came by on her way to work to take me into Pleasant Hill.  She works at the bowling alley where Lori and Natalia bowl.  Lori and Tucker collected me so we could go for a treat.

Afterwards, we went to the dog park at Heather Farms.  Tucker ran around a bit with another Schnauzer.  That dog was hyper, which Tucker is not.  The playing was short-lived, because the hyper one was soon off chasing a whole pack of little dogs.

We made a couple of other stops before going back to Lori's apartment.  After that I didn't accomplish a whole lot more.

Tucker had a new experience yesterday.  He caught a gopher.  He used stealth and cunning to sneak up on it.  Just after he pounced, Lori yanked on his leash.  The gopher was on the ground by his hole.  Whether it was pretending to be dead or had actually passed on to the big mound of dirt in the sky, Lori didn't know.  And she didn't hang around to find out.
