There was a thunderstorm that hit a little before 4:00 this morning, followed by a steady rain until about 11:00.
Bill and I went for an early practice lunch at Burger King. Tomorrow will be our anniversary and we haven’t practiced much lately.
From BK we went to Walmart to stock up on a few things for our new frig...ice cream and things like that. A few of the necessities of life.
We hadn’t been home long when Brent came to see if I wanted to see go with Sara and him. Of course, I never miss a chance to go! We drove to Jackson. Close to a very large hospital is a restaurant that specializes in Greek food. I had a soda and a small cup of black bean soup.
Afterwards, we drove through some of the old neighborhoods to see the large old homes. Most of them were well maintained with beautiful landscaping. We also went to the old area of small shops, including Brent’s Drug Store, which were all in the movie, The Help.
It was a fun afternoon.
