October 19, 2013---Seligman to Walmart in Winslow, Arizona

It got cold in Seligman last night...37°.  Br-r-r-r!

We crossed into Mountain Time Zone yesterday and couldn’t figure out why our cell phone clocks didn’t adjust.  Then we remembered that Arizona doesn’t go on Daylight Savings Time.  We don’t know why, but we knew it was that way when Brent was stationed in Tucson at Davis Monthan AFB.

The terrain went from scrappy rock strewn fields to small bushes to small trees to pine trees.  It certainly makes for a more interesting ride to have changes in the scenery.

OK!  Super Wildlife Hunter didn’t see a gecko.  It was a mouse!  Yikes!  That’s not on my list either!  When our friends, Dwight and Sheila, had a mouse on board in their motorhome, they finally resorted to 22 mouse traps to catch the little rascal,  When they were finally able to trap it, I presented them with a toy mouse as a keepsake.  Oops!  I hope it isn’t pay back time.

We parked at Walmart in Winslow, AZ.  After lunch and naps, we went in to Walmart to do some shopping.   Our evening was spent watching the Oregon Ducks trounce Washington State.  I know our entire family is cheering!

Mileage traveled today---132 miles.
