January 15, 2014---Quartzsite, Arizona

Once again it was pancakes before caching.  Both were good today.

We went out into the desert south and east of Quartzsite.  There was a series of 14 caches all in a row.  We found the first one easily.  The next one was not so easy.  As we were leaving the area, two more cachers arrived, so we all went back and looked some more.  This time we were successful.

We completed the series with our new caching buddies, Lonny and Jeanie.  We were all going to lunch at the same place...La Mesa RV...so Lonny said he would “pay” for our lunch.  Such a generous guy!

After going home and resting, Bill took the coach for fuel, propane, water and dumping the tanks, while I went to a rock shop on an errand for Lori.  I wasn’t successful, but I will keep trying.

As of this afternoon, we are parked at the RV Forum Rally in the Long Term Visitors Area (LTVA).  We will be here for about a week and a half, before going on to Yuma.
