We went geocaching at 9:30 and didn’t quit until 1:30, after finding 34 caches. We went out onto the desert southeast of Quartzsite. There were some interesting hiding places along this section of the Gas Line Road. We did, however, have one DNF. We looked for one cache for about 20 minutes and then went back later on our way home. Still no luck.
We were really tired when we got back to the the motorhome. I tried to take a nap, but was too tired to relax. That doesn’t even make sense, does it? Anyway, that’s how it was!
We went to Happy Hour, but I was too tired to be happy. After awhile, I went back to the house to get some desk duties out of the way. With geocaching comes a lot of extra computer work.
The weather has been really nice here on the desert. This morning there was a hot air balloon floating lazily over the foothills to the west. We can’t remember ever seeing any balloon activity in this area.
