May 2, 2012

This morning we drove into Fulton to geocache.  It has a population of about 4,000.  There is also a Community College with a very impressive campus.  We found a cache on campus.

Our total for caches today was five.  There were about 20 that we didn’t attempt, but hope to before we leave the area next Monday.  Caching is a good way to see an area.

A thunderstorm went through the area in the middle of the afternoon...not much rain with the storm, but a lot of noise.  That lasted long after the storm seemed to pass.  We are in a thick forest so we don’t have much of a view of the sky.
