May 7, 2012

On our way to Aberdeen, a total of 52 miles, we stopped at Walmart in Amory.  By the time we got to the COE campground, Blue Bluff, on the Waterway, it was after 1:00.

Just as we were checking in at the campground office, a terrible storm went through the area.  The rain was coming down in the proverbial buckets and the wind was blowing really hard.  It was quite a storm.

We waited until most of the storm had passed by before attempting to park the coach at a campsite.  As soon as we were parked, we ate a late lunch and settled down to rest after all the excitement of the ordeal.

A light rain continued to fall into the late afternoon.  It was a good time to stay in and get caches loaded for tomorrow.
