It was really hot yesterday, but was worse today, 102°. The good side of it is there is no humidity with the heat.
We went to the tiny town if Mead, site of a city wide yard sale event. There were so many places to shop, but as the morning went on it got too hot to stay out on driveways and shop in the heat.
We had a good time, though, and went to a really good barbecue place for lunch. Afterwards, we shopped some more, but opted to go home earlier than we had meant to.
As we were driving back to Loveland we could see the smoke from the forest fires. Most of it was contained, I think, until it jumped a canyon and took off again. It has been a bad one!
