June 26, 2012

June 26, 2012

Brent, Sara, and I drove to Broomfield to have lunch with Meredith at Oracle.  We had a good time and the food in their cafeteria was certainly good.

Afterwards, we went shopping at a mall close to the Oracle buildings.  Sara found several pairs of shorts on sale, as well as a bright colored tank top.  Some jewelry purchases rounded off her shopping for the day.

As we drove home we noticed smoke in the mountains west of Boulder.  We had seen lightening in the area earlier and learned that it was the cause of the new forest fire.

Tonight, as we finished our dinner of chicken enchiladas and cole slaw, the wind began to blow rather briskly.  That’s not good for the fire situation.

After visiting around the table, I said I was going home (the MH was parked in the driveway).  Joshua said “Have a safe trip.”  He has the same quick wit that Bill and Brent have.  That’s good to see!
