December 17, 2015—An RV lot in Yuma, Arizona

At 10:30, Bill and I went to the Market Place…aka Flea Market…on Avenue 4E.  We go every year, at least once.  Because we plan to be in the Yuma area longer this year, we might go more often.

Bill was able to get a special kind of cleaner that he uses on the outside of the motorhome.  He was also able to get a special LED bulb for the porch/step light on our outside light by the door.  That is about as clear as mud, isn’t it?  But since we only have one outside door, you should be able to figure out where I am talking about.

I was looking for a fanny pack.  The only one I have is years and years old and is getting kind of raggedy.  There are times it would be more convenient to use a fanny pack than to carry a purse.  I will just have to keep looking.  I didn’t have any luck today finding what I need and want.

When we left the Market Place it was time for lunch.  Bill wanted to go elsewhere for lunch so we continued on 32nd Street until it turns into 4th Avenue.  Bill was looking for a fish place that he really likes.  When we got to 16th Street we knew we must of missed it.  He made a U-turn and we searched on 4th Avenue again.  No luck.  We drove back down to 16th Street to turn east and got in a traffic jam.  We thought there was an accident, but found out differently.  It was being treated like a crime scene.  Policeman were taking license plates off a car and the driver was definitely being detained.  Hm-m-m!

We decided to head for home and stop at Arby’s on the way.  When lunch was finished and we were back at the MH, I made a big pot of White Bean with Chicken Chili.  I had invited Todd, Bonnie, and Donald to eat with us.  The dogs came, too, and were disappointed that none of the food was for them.  We enjoyed our visit.  It is nice to have friends close by to share our celebration time with.
