March 22, 2016—-Yuma, Arizona

We only had a couple of errands to go on today.  Both of them, however, took quite a bit of time.

We spent about an hour and a half touring a house for sale.  We had walked around the outside several times…no one is living in the house…but today a realtor took us inside.  The house is much roomier than we had expected, with a large open kitchen and living room, two bedrooms and two full baths.  There is a garage with space for a washer and dryer, and a work bench along one side.  The covered porch on the front of the house is large.  The down side of the whole setup is a lot of junk on the lot next door.  There is a brick wall between the properties, but it only goes so far at hiding the stuff.

One other draw back is the price.  It is more than we want to pay.  We would offer them less than the asking price, and see where it goes from there.  Spaces for two RVs with 30 amp service are along the wall.  There are some cacti and several palm trees, but it needs a little more landscaping.

Bill and I will do some serious talking tomorrow before deciding what to do.

We went to Walmart where I was able to get a power chair to making shopping so much easier for me.

After resting off and on during the afternoon, I worked on our tax information project.  I have about another hour’s work.  Yippy, Skippy!

The high this afternoon was 81° and there was a breeze blowing that helped cool things down.  It was a pleasant day!
