March 7, 2016—-Yuma, Arizona

When I got up this morning, I felt good.  A little later, I was hit with an intestinal upset so I took some medicine and stayed close to home for the rest of the morning.

Bill went to the County Planning Commission to check on some legal aspects of the casita we are interested in purchasing.  Not good news!  It was not built according to the permits issued and could not have the updates we wanted.  We were glad to find out the legal things about it and cross it off our list.

By mid afternoon I was feeling better, so we went for a ride.  It is fun looking at houses, although we didn’t actually go into any today.  We are in the Foothills area and want to stay in this part of the city.  We are in the county rather than the City of Yuma where the major development has been done.  Probably 95% of the Foothills is housing…not very many businesses, except small ones.

We went to Arby’s for an early supper.  On the way, we noticed there were dark clouds gathering on the mountains to the east.  By bedtime, no rain had fallen.  The area is still bone dry!  The high today was 63°.  We needed jackets!  Wow!  We love this kind of weather, but know it might be 30° warmer next week.  We’ll enjoy it while we can.
