Brent called this morning to say he was having some problem with his right foot and needed help driving. Dwaine and Joshua took our Honda and met them in the Lamar, Colorado. It was a fairly quick trip for that distance. They got back to Loveland just as we were finishing a cook out at Michelle’s
In the meantime, Bill caught Jerry #11.
And I spent most of the day making a curtain for the spare bedroom in Michelle’s basement. I also had enough fabric left to make a cover for the bed. Michelle and I found a remnant at Habitat Thrift Store. It was a big roll of blue material for $5. We didn’t realize how much fabric there was until it was unrolled. The room is painted blue, and it all looked very nice with the dark brown wood of the bed.
Meredith came to get me after she finished work this afternoon. I had been working on a project at her house this weekend and I needed to spend some more time on it.
We went back for the cookout and lots of visiting. It was so good to see Brent, Coleson, and Sara. And, of course, Willie. He was so excited he couldn’t decided who to run to. He ended up running in circles to make sure everyone knew he was there. And, of course, he would be hard to miss because he’s so big.
