July 18, 2014---Michelle’s in Loveland, Colorado

Several of us planned to go in search of garage sales this morning.  There weren’t too many available today.  On our way to Berthoud we were able to make several stops.  Only Brent and Meredith made any purchases.  Brent found an antique brass fire extinguisher and Meredith bought a tiny Bronco (old logo) mug.

We went to the Habitat Thrift Store in Berthoud.  That was our main destination.  All of us found something we “just couldn’t live without.”  Our favorite thrift store is still the Habitat store in Loveland.  It is much larger and the prices are better.

After a stop at King Sooper we headed back to Loveland.  It had started to rain, but by the time we got back to the area of Hobby Lobby, the weather had improved.  Michelle and I went in for a quick look while Meredith, Sara, and Brent went to Starbucks.

Once back at home, I took a long nap.  I was so tired from all the fun running around.

For dinner, Brent made a meat and potato casserole.  He brought it Michelle’s, and along with salad and hot rolls, we had a feast.  Dessert was root beer floats.  Some of us, who aren’t purest, made Pepsi floats.  There’s just no accounting for taste!

Joshua mowed the yard today so people could play bocce ball.  As you can see from the picture below, Sara had lots of help from three furry friends.
