Michelle was sick today and spent a lot of the time resting. I wasn’t sick, but I rested most of the day, too.
It was very warm today...99°. Ugh! Bill likes to blame things on the altitude here. Now he’s adding the heat to that, also.
Brent fixed dinner tonight...some kind of roast cooked with lots of seasoning and onions. He also made mashed potatoes and salad. It was all very good. The meat was so tender. There was ice cream for dessert. We ate in Meredith and Dwaine’s dining room. It was too warm to eat outside.
We can squeeze a lot of people around the table. To add to the merriment, there are usually two dogs under the table...sometimes three! Things are never dull around here. We sat around after eating, talking about movies made in Astoria. There were several made there over the years.
