August 18, 2014---Redmond to Eugene, Oregon

We missed the deadline for departure by six minutes.  There were still two motorhomes in our huge lot when we pulled out.
Along Highway 126.

After hooking the CRV on and fueling at Fred Meyer, we were “on the road again.”  Our destination for the day was Eugene.  From the little town of Sisters, there are two road choices.  One is a shortcut.  We did NOT take it.  There is a vehicle length limit and they mean it.  And we were way beyond the limit.

We stopped at a pullout for lunch and rest time.  It was nice sitting, by a clear lake, to eat our PNB sandwich feast.
A very peaceful place.
Along the McKenzie River.

As we continued our journey we were traveling beside the McKenzie River.  It was a beautiful drive on into Eugene.

We went past hazelnut orchards and Christmas tree farms, and through tiny towns like Rainbow, Nimrod, Blue River, and Vida, and all this time we were following the river.

In Eugene, we parked at Kaiser Brake and Aligenment.  The MH has an appointment tomorrow morning.  When we got here, we met Jerry and Audrey, also having work done on their coach.  They are RV Forum friends.
