August 22, 2014---Junction City, Oregon

This morning, we went shopping at a whole bunch of places...Costco, Trader Joe’s, Fred Meyer, and Walmart.  When we got back to the motorhome, it was being worked on.  I needed a nap, but the power wrenches sounded like giant dental drills, and sleep was out of the question.

The air dryer was replaced and a crack in the tract bar was repaired.  Our old house is showing its age.  Sniff, sniff!  We hope it holds together for a few more years.  We aren’t ready to give up our lifestyle.

We will be here in Junction City for a few more days.  Our rear air bags are beginning to weather check and need to be replaced.  One more thing on the list!

There is another calf due here on the farm.  We might still be around for the blessed event.  That would be an experience to add to our list.

NASCAR races at Bristol, Tennessee this weekend.  Because the track is so short, the race is usually very exciting.

I have several projects in progress, as usual, so some time here might be a welcome relief.  Of course, that involves staying home part of the time, doesn’t it?
