November 17, 2015—Dream Catcher RV Park, Deming, New Mexico

Before dawn this morning, strong winds rocked the motorhome.  After we got out of bed and the sun came up, the wind continued to blow, about 30 miles an hour.

We decided we should stay off the Interstate for the day and hope things calmed down.  The Escapee RV Club we belong to has an RV Park, the Dream Catcher, at the east edge of Deming.  After breakfast, we checked in to a spot with full hooks.  If the really cold  temperature predicted makes its way here tonight, we would like to be able to use our electric blanket.

The high winds continued to blow all day long so we were glad to have a safe place for the night.  Bill made a trip back to Walmart to shop for a few items.  I stayed home and took a mid morning nap, followed by a long hot shower at the campground shower facilities.  I certainly felt better after those two luxuries.

We didn’t accomplish much for the rest of the day.
