February 29, 2016—-Yuma, Arizona

This was a good day for me…so I tried to drink lots of water and use my cane when we went caching.  Todd went with us.  We found six hidden things in the desert south of Yuma.  None of them were in particularly rough terrain, but the sand is always tricky to walk in.  Some of them had a high difficulty rating, but we didn’t have any DNFs on our list.

After all that trekking around in the desert, we decided Arby’s would be a good place for lunch.  We couldn’t sit around and talk after we finished eating, because Todd had a doctor appointment this afternoon.  He does more “doctoring” than I do, and that’s a lot.

On our way back home, Bill and I looked at a few possible locations to “roost.”  Mainly we were looking for ideas.  There are many property listings, both buildable lots and lots with houses on them.  I’m glad we don’t have to make a decision soon.  This isn’t an easy thing for either one of us to think about.  We are in our 18th year of living in this “hallway” and we still love it.

It was rather hot today, but we didn’t suffer too much.  We have yet to turn on either air conditioner.
